3) El Abrazo de la Serpiente

Colombia´s first Oscar nominee, Embrace of the Serpent tells the story of an Amazonian shaman and two scientists, who are in a search for forty years of a sacred remedial herb that grows on his land with its black and white imagery.
4) Hitchcock / Truffaut
Director: Kent Jones
Kent Jones pays tribute to the legendary directors: François Truffaut and Hitchcock in this highly anticipated documentary of the year, which is formed by the 1966 book, A Definitive Study of Hitchcock, compiled by Truffaut from the 3-day-long interview he conducted with the legendary director.
5) Heart of a Dog
Director: Laurie Anderson
Laurie Anderson, the famed avant-garde artist of New York art circles, focuses on post 9/11 government paranoia via Anderson´s beloved terrier Lolabelle’s death. It’s a personal and heart-warming film.
