Last week I had the chance to experience renowned delicacies of 360 Istanbul located on the rooftop of Misir Apartment or as in Turkish, Mısır Apartmanı…
Before I move on with the restaurant itself I’d like to tell you more about this very famed apartment. After Trocadero Theatre was demolished in 1910, the apartment was built as Khedive of Egypt, Abbas II’s winter residence and hosted a great number of important names like Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the composer of national anthem of Republic of Turkey or adored musicians like Emel Sayın and Muazzez Abacı and many more.
360 Istanbul Restaurant offers its guest a dining hall, lounge and entertainment venue with an energetic and thoughtfully desinged atmosphere. Located near Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 360 has amazing panaroma views of the old city and Beyoglu district. The restaurant’s accepted service concept based on customer satisfaction promises that you won’t regret your experience and leave this very charming building happy… The restaurant is open from 12 pm to 2 am between Sunday and Thursday, and from 12 pm to 4 am on Friday and Saturday. After midnight DJ performances take the stage. You may directly pass to the club also if you want. Entrance fee is 50 TL including a drink of your choice.
During Friday and Saturday, 360 offers several entertainment scenes while you enjoy your dinner. Acrobatic shows, singing revue girls, celebrity impersonators or classical music resitals surround you for the “Wow!” word coming from you.
I recommend iconic tastes of 360’s kitchen for the dinner. For hot & cold appetizers, “Currant Dolma”, “Stuffed Eggplant with Antakya Olives” or as in Turkish İmam Bayıldı and “Grilled Calamar with Circassian Cheese” are my favourite. Also for main course you should taste “360 Lamb Rack Confit” and “Slow Roasted Cherry Duck”. For dessert, “Chocolate Orgasm” is a must!
Blending ambiance, entertainment and world cuisines together successfully, a splended evening at 360 Istanbul costs around 140 TL, except drinks. The kitchen is managed by famous chef Mike Norman. Do yourself a favor and visit this spectacular point this weekend.
Wish you all a great time!
