There is no denying that the windmills of Bodrum are one of its most famous attractions. They sit high up on a hill overlooking the water. On a clear day, you can see the city of Bodrum, Gumbet, and the Greek island of Kos. While the windmills have been largely neglected since their discontinued use in the 1970s, they are still a site worth seeing. Built in the 18th century, they feature sturdy stone construction. Take a Boat Ride

The Marina in Bodrum sits in a sheltered bay on the Aegean coastline. You can stroll along the promenade and get a sense of the city. Then book a boat tour in a luxury gulet. Bodrum Amphitheater

This ancient amphitheater may not look like much today, but it was one of the city’s entertainment centers. It would host theater performances and gladiator fights. Today, you can visit during the day or purchase tickets to a concert.
